Emily
Bogue

Emily Bogue is the Principal Physiotherapist at Longevity Physiotherapy. She graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle. She has worked across multiple clinical areas of Physiotherapy including rehabilitation, women's health, orthopaedics, persistant pain and sports physiotherapy across Australia. She has worked with, and produced research with, some of Australia's best orthopaedic surgeons.
More recently, Emily has worked in public health policy, international trade and investment and health service design. Now, she has returned to her passion; working with individuals to move freely and live fully. She plays national level (beach) and state level (indoor) European handball and is passionate about supporting individuals to play sport well into their later decades. She regularly provides sports physiotherapy to the UTS Handball club.
Emily's own journey has given her insight into how lifestyle medicine approaches (including sleep, nutrition and mental wellness) are complementary to Physiotherapy approaches. As such, she is a member of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine. Her return to sport after having her son has informed her practice and passion for supporting women's return to sport across the different seasons of their lives.
When she is not playing handball, Emily plays netball, surfs and does weight training (her newfound passion!). She loves spending time at the Eastern suburbs beaches with her partner and son.
