Longevity Physiotherapy provides holistic, personalised and evidence-based Physiotherapy in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

Nothing makes us happier than getting individuals back to living life after an injury. Whether you've had an injury or pain for a few days or years, we're here to help.

We take a future-focused view of your health. With research showing that muscle strength, bone health and cardiovascular endurance are critical for longevity, we will work with you to ensure your physical health is optimised for the long term. We have a special interest in working with women across their lifespan.

Manage pain and injuries

We'll begin with a thorough assessment of your injury or condition. We will ensure that you have a clear understanding of your condition and the expected recovery timeframes. Together, we'll develop an evidence-based treatment plan that is practical, structured, and aligned with your goals.

Monitoring Progress

We know that following through with your exercises after your Physiotherapy appointment can be hard. Perhaps you have a question about an exercise or you need a little bit of encouragement to start. Your Physiotherapy session doesn't end once you've left the appointment. We will continue to monitor your progress between sessions and be available to answer any questions through our online platform.

Optimise strength and bone health

Muscle strength and power are one of the keys to longevity, bone health is critical for ensuring we can stay physically active as we age. We will incorporate muscle strength and bone health advice and exercises within your treatment plan. We follow the research of Dr Stacy Sims, with a particular focus on the changing needs of women across their healthspan.

Holistic and Collaborative Approach

Optimal physical health is dependant on the pillars of lifestyle medicine. These are nutrition, sleep, social connection and mental wellness. We will support you to optimise your health in these areas as well as actively working with health and wellness professionals who can support you in these areas.

Initial Assessment

Our initial assessment is 1 hour and involves a movement and lifestyle assessment. You will be provided with a preliminary diagnosis and a Physiotherapy treatment plan.

 

Your program may include dry needling, massage, exercise prescription and lifestyle advice. 

You will be provided with an online exercise and movement program through which you can communicate with your Physiotherapist between sessions.

Follow Up Appointment

Our follow up appointments between 30 - 45 minutes in length.

 

The follow up appointment will allow us to continue and review your program. We discuss progress towards your goals and any questions you may have about your Physiotherapy program.

Clinical Group Strength Training

We believe, and the evidence shows,  that strength is best built in a social environment! We have group classes that are perfect for people who would like to develop muscle and bone strength.

Everyone should include strength training in their weekly routine. We offer a clinical, evidence-based and fun environment where strength can be built safely. 

Our circuits are run by two health professionals, a Physiotherapist and an Exercise Physiologist.
